Why it matters
Not every portrait is about a milestone. Sometimes it's one person, ready to be seen as they are. Sometimes it's the people who've been in your life the longest, in the same frame while you still can.
You've already got thousands of photos on your phone. None of them are on your wall, and most of them never will be. A legacy portrait isn't another file added to that pile. It's a piece of art, printed large, made to be seen every day, not scrolled past once.
How it works
The Conversation
Before anything else, we talk. About you, about what you're picturing, and about whether this is the right fit for both of us. It might happen in person, over the phone, or over a coffee, whatever makes sense. This isn't a formality before the sale. It's where the portrait actually starts: I need to understand who you are before I can photograph you properly.
The Session
45–90 minutes in my private studio in Glenmore Park. Everything from the conversation leads to this moment. There's no posing to think about, no expression to hold, nothing to get right. All that's required of you is to be present. I'll do the rest.
The Viewing
You return to see the work, or I come to you. Presented properly, on its own, with no distractions. This is where the portraits reveal themselves, not as files on a screen, but as the finished art they were always meant to be.

I always meant to photograph my mother properly. There was always going to be a better time, next year, after this or that. There wasn't. We never did it, and it's the one thing I still regret to this day. I don't want that for you.
That's why I photograph the way I do. Trends come and go, harsh light one year, all matching neutrals the next. I don't chase them. My style is elegant and timeless, made to still mean something in twenty, thirty years, not just look current for one.
18 years as a professional behind a camera has taught me one thing above all: a portrait only works if it's about the people in front of it. Not a style. Not a trend. Them.
